Welcome to Our Classroom Webpage!
I am excited to begin my first year at Queen City STEM Elementary School. Let me tell you a little about myself. I obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Rutgers University. I received my Masters in Teaching at UNC Charlotte. My teaching experience crosses over two local districts. I have taught Kindergarten, 2nd and 3rd grades in the Charlotte Mecklenburg School System, and I have also taught 2nd and 3rd grades in the Lincoln County School System.
I believe we are all lifelong learners, and all our experiences and diversity help shape who we are and directly impacts our future success. We are a part of a global community and are responsible in educating one another.
Family is very important, and provides me with the support, strength, courage, and sense of humor that keeps me focused and enjoying life. My husband Arnie, and I have two wonderful children, Jessica and Jake.
I look forward to the new school year, and getting to know my students and their families. I take seriously the responsibilities entrusted to me as your child’s teacher. With your support and involvement at home and school, I have no doubt that this year will be a GREAT SUCCESS!
